After the alleged diss from Austin Mahone toward ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello, could the Fifth Harmony member venture out on her own and follow Taylor Swift's advice?
According to the Inquisitr, Austin Mahone recently confirmed the dating rumors surrounding the singer and Becky G. Reportedly, Mahone also managed to throw shade at Camila Cabello during an interview with MTV News.
"Yeah, you could say we're dating," said Mahone. "We're dating. It's crazy, I never had, like, a real relationship before, so it's pretty crazy. It's great being in a relationship with someone that does the same thing you do. We understand each other, we understand what we do."
Soon after the interview, Fifth Harmony fans came to Camila's defense, even trending the hashtag #CamilaDefenseSquad on Twitter and YouTube.
"The only relationships that count is the one she has with us," tweeted Becca on Twitter. "Love you Mila."
Perhaps one way the Camila should get back at Austin Mahone is to take Taylor Swift's advice. According to Hollywood Life, Swift advices Cabello to write her own songs.
"Taylor's biggest thing with Camila is for her to write more and take ownership of her songs," said a source. "She told Camila to jot down moments or memories that touch her throughout the day. Taylor also wants Camila to start writing daily in a journal, which will really help with her songwriting."
Reportedly, Swift has even advised the Fifth Harmony member to leave the group to pursue a solo career.
