Taylor Swift's mom supported her during her first 1989 World Tour on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan despite her recent cancer diagnosis. On April, Swift revealed that her mother, Andrea Finlay, has been diagnosed with cancer.

Finlay was seen arriving at Tokyo's Narita International Airport with her husband, Scott. She watched her daughter perform alongside approximately 55,000 fans who came to watch singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift.

Swift wrote about her mother's condition through her social media account and suggested to all her fans to get their parents checked. They may be too busy to go to the doctor. In fact, her mother just gave in to have her check-up because it was Swift's request as her Christmas gift.

People Magazine quoted, "She wanted you to know because your parents may be too busy juggling everything they've got going on to go to the doctor, and maybe you reminding them to go get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle ... Or peace of mind in knowing that they're healthy and there's nothing to worry about."

"She wanted you to know why she may not be at as many shows this tour. She's got an important battle to fight," Swift wrote about her mother in April.

However, she did not specifically identify the type of cancer her mother is battling. She also did not divulge what kind of treatment her mother is going through. Yet, her mother looked healthy and happy during the event, reports Yahoo News.

Swift is expected to do one more show in Tokyo before she heads back to Louisiana for her U.S. leg of the tour. Her mother emanates strength and determination to fight cancer for her family especially Taylor Swift who is beside her through her battle.
