Audrey Hepburn is certainly one of the most beautiful faces to have ever graced the Hollywood scene. Her doe eyes, sweet voice, and natural talent shone so much in hit movies such as Breakfast at Tiffany's and Roman Holiday. But there's another thing that has captured people's attention: her small frame.

Even when she already had children and grew old, her frame hardly ever changed. While many may attribute it to the pressures of Hollywood-that is, she had also dieted and exercised religiously like the rest-her son shared that she actually had a pasta addiction.

In a new recipe book showcasing the star's favorite recipes, Luca Dotti, her 45-year-old, in an interview with People fondly remembered how her mom could go pasta crazy, including putting catsup on it while consuming a lot of TV at night.

She also loved chocolates, so much so she stored them in a special drawer that no one had special access to.

However, she's able to maintain her slender body by being strict in what she eats. Although she did enjoy certain indulgences, she was also consistent in detoxification consisting of apple that had been grated then paired with plain (or unsweetened) yogurt. Yogurt contains millions of healthy bacteria that can help restore the gut flora while apples have anti-bacterial properties and are rich with vitamins including vitamin C.

She was also a great believer of shopping and eating local. She preferred fresh ingredients that were grown in season, and she visited the local shops and farmers' markets.

Hepburn lived a full life, having served as UNICEF's goodwill ambassador, which allowed her to travel to several impoverished countries in the world. She eventually died in the early 1990s when she developed a rare form of cancer. A cancer of the appendix has already spread to her abdomen.

Nevertheless, her legacy, obviously, including her love for food and sound body are alive and well.
