Comic-Con week is full of blessings indeed! Even for the story of the anti-Christ, the weeklong revelations included news about the upcoming A&E TV show "Damien." Previous "The Walking Dead" showrunner Glen Mazzara talk "Omen" sequel, and how the world is as the son of Satan returns.

In an exclusive report by THR, the newest TV show "Damien" has released its first-look trailer, revealing the continuation of the life of Damien after the horrible events in during his childhood from the 1976 film "Omen." Bradley James known for his work in "Homeland" portrays the 30-year-old son of Satan, who finds his way back to his ancestral home, where the terrible events occurred when he was a child.

Executive producer Ross Fineman shared in the report how this upcoming "Damien" TV show resurrects the same character from the classic horror film. "We see the series as a sequel to that original movie."

"We're not using the second and third movies as part of our bible," Fineman explained. "Fans of that first movie will also be interested in finding out where Damien's been for those missing 25 years since the last time we saw him when he was a boy and meeting him now. We'll definitely give fans information on where he's been."

Although the 1976 film's type of horror may not be applicable to audiences today in terms of scare tactics, the recently revealed trailer of "Damien" shows how careful integration of old and new materials can still be horrifying for 2015 audiences.

Fineman expressed, "I think 'Damien' is cutting-edge material. It's trying to push the boundaries as far as violence and horror go. There's a lot of really great drama on TV and that was not the case in 1976 when the film came out. So the bar is set so high given other great horror shows that are on TV."

"We have our work cut out for us; everybody is really interested in pushing the boundaries," Fineman aadded. "I think we've got a few episodes that people are going to be talking about."
