You'd think there'd be more detail on the hit HBO series when the San Diego Comic-Con comes---well, not really. The "Game of Throne" cast appeared for the show's panel and while there were some revelations for season 6, the release date was not among them.

The latest news for the HBO favorite "Game of Thrones" had cast members appear during the SDCC panel and there were two top stories audiences were focused on---the first would be season 6 details, and the second obviously is on the future(less) chief commander of the Watch, Jon Snow.

A report by VanityFair revealed that the usual Comic-Con headliners weren't in last week's event but the "Game of Thrones" panel was still joined by the show's stars that include Maisie Williams, Alfie Allen, Sofie Turner and Natalie Dormer. Execs Carolyn Strauss and director David Nutter joined the cast as audiences waited to hear more "Game of Thrones" season 6 news.

The "Game of Thrones" panel was asked about season 6 details of course and both the cast and execs were quite mum about the subject. According to the report, the reason behind the cast member's silence was attributed to the fact that they "haven't seen the upcoming scripts yet. According to them, they know nothing at all."

From the previous experiences with the earlier "Game of Thrones" seasons, there had been major issues including the show's fans and book readers. The same report revealed that "the simplest explanation for the lack of any hints or insight from the creators and cast is the age-old 'Game of Thrones' hot button issue: spoilers"---and season 6 is one hot topic indeed.

"We've always tried to maintain a level of surprise for people who watch the show," exec Strauss pointed out in a report by Yahoo.

Meanwhile, the "Game of Thrones" cast and execs were also asked about the question of Jon Snow and his anticipated "resurrection" come season 6. Deadline shared that exec Nutter once answered the same question from "the number-one 'Game of Thrones' fan in the world" who is none other than President Obama himself where he said, "Jon Snow is deader than dead."

While there has been little revealed about "Game of Thrones" season 6, it isn't a surprise that HBO, George R. R. Martin and the cast members aren't keen on sharing the release date details anytime soon.
