BioWare takes fan-involvement into new heights after calling out submissions for an accessory design contest. Winner will get the chance to see the piece onto the upcoming "Dragon Age: Inquisition" DLC!
After numerous DLCs have been released for "Dragon Age: Inquisition," developers refuse to hold back fans' involvement and recently declared that their creativity is wanted. BioWare revealed the "Untold Relics of Thedas" contest that calls out to fans who are interested to have their own designs added onto the next "Dragon Age: Inquisition" DLC.
According to GameRant, BioWare announced the callout for the contest and posted that fans should design accessories based on the ability list they provided. BioWare made this callout to fans:
"Make [the item] funny, make it mysterious, make it sad, but above all else, make sure it affects gameplay in an interesting and unique way. Whether it's high risk/high reward or encourages nonstandard min-maxing, we want items that will get your fellow Inquisitors thinking about how they play in new ways."
Apart from these characteristics, fans should submit the accessories with interesting names and backstories that will be useful for the characters they play in "Dragon Age: Inquisition." In BioWare's official blog, developers called out to fans for the design in the planned DLC and announced, "Starting July 15, 2015, we will be accepting your submissions for the 'Untold Relics of Thedas' contest. Using the ability list found here, we want you to create a new and exciting accessory item for possible inclusion in 'Dragon Age: Inquisition.'"
"Whatever your motivation, we want you to create a new accessory for 'Dragon Age: Inquisition,' along with an interesting name and backstory for it," added BioWare.
"Untold Relics of Thedas" contest for the new "Dragon Age: Inquisition" DLC will end this coming July 20 at exactly 11:59 PM PST. "Three winners will be chosen by our panel of judges on or after July 29. Entries will be judged for their creativity, originality, appropriateness to the topic, and how they impact gameplay," explained the developer.
