"Dragon Ball Super" episode 3 is entitled "Look for the Super Saiyan God."
The "Dragon Ball Super" episode opened with the previous setting where Beerus was talking to Whis about his visions about a "Super Saiyan God." Old Kai knows of Beerus' presence and becomes paranoid.
The next scene showed King Kai on his own planet. He also knows about the God of Destruction and is unsure whether Goku, who is training, is strong enough to beat Beerus. Whis told Beerus about two Saiyans that still exist, who is Goku and Vegeta.
A brief flashback from "Dragon Ball Z" showed Whis telling Beerus that Goku defeated Frieza by becoming a Super Saiyan. The pair then headed to Earth.
Krillin, Android 18 and Maron were stuck in traffic on their way to Bulma's party. Krillin then decided to fly there instead. Along the way, Tien, Chiaotzu and Yamacha make their first appearance in a "Dragon Ball Super" episode.
Bulma's party was held in a luxurious cruise ship, which was the same cruise ship that she scouted in the previous episode. Gohan, Videl and Chi Chi arrive to the party as well as Piccolo. Master Roshi, still the pervert, was seen scouting young girls in their bikinis.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 3 did not show much of Vegeta, who was still in training. "Dragon Ball Super" episode 2 showed Vegeta, Trunks and Bulma on vacation. They are depicted going to the mall in order to get Trunks some new clothes, while Vegeta is seen not caring at all.
Attack of the Fanboy reported that most of the content of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 3 has been rehashed from the animated movie, "Battle of Gods." The episode was also heavy on dialogue without much action.
The next "Dragon Ball Super" episode titles have been revealed. Episode 4 is entitled "Mission Dragonballs! Pilaf Gang's Big Plan!" Episode 5, "Goku vs God of Destruction Beerus," seems to be an action-packed part of the series with Goku going head-to-head with Beerus.
