There has been ominous activity in the official website of Frank Ocean's upcoming sophomore album and fans speculate that this will bring more news of the new LP. According to a report by theBoomBox, the Frank Ocean site has now been redirecting visitors to boysdontcry.co page.
The site presents the original photo of Frank Ocean when he announced the now-delayed release date of the new album. The site is reportedly named after the upcoming magazine by Frank Ocean titled "Boys Don't Cry," which is speculated to be released the same time as the new album. However, to this day, no confirmation of the new release date has been revealed.
Speculations on the nearing release date announcement, however, have gone haywire, especially with the activity in Frank Ocean's website. Fans all over haven't given up on hearing more news, which is rumored to come anytime soon.
It was in April this year that Frank Ocean announced the release of the new album that follows "Channel Orange" released in 2012. The July release date remained vague as the month closed, bringing disappointment to fans worldwide as the month closed and no sophomore album anywhere to be found.
Meanwhile, once the new Frank Ocean album surfaces, fans are expecting collaborations from a multitude of equally talented artists. One being French pianist Christophe Chassol who said, "Ocean invited me to Abbey Road to record on his album," in an interview with Bet.
"I asked him how he heard about me," continued Chassol.
"He told me his friend Diplo was listening a lot to [my album] Indiamore, and they started to listen to it, and they were wondering how I was doing the speech harmonization, so he called me. He asked me to do some speech harmonization on a song with him."
