The second episode of the upcoming season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory" will be intense! Spoilers reveal that a new character will be introduced!
In the finale of season 8 (spoiler alert!), it was revealed that Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) were about to get married in Vegas. However, the moment was ruined when Leonard decided to tell Penny of his infidelity to her while he was on an expedition.
According to the spoiler from TVLine, Melissa Tang will be portraying the role of the North- Sea-Expedition-woman whom Leonard kissed. The air will be filled with tension as Melissa Tang's character will be making an appearance in second episode of season 9 of "The Big Bang Theory."
Melissa Tang has had a fair amount of TV experiences. According to IMDB, she portrayed the character of April Cho from the TV series, "The Goodwin Games." Tang was casted to portray Amanda in the hit TV series, "How I Met Your Mother." She was also a seen in the TV show, "Mom" as she played the character of Suzanne for more than one episode.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Steve Molaro, showrunner of "The Big Bang Theory" revealed spoilers regarding the upcoming season 9. Molaro teased that fans will have to wait and see if the wedding will prevail, but Penny will definitely be thinking things through.
IBTimes reported that season 9 will be taking place on the same day that the events occurred. This means that more information about Penny and Leonard's relationship, Raj's and Emily's situation and of course Sheldon's ring will be revealed on the first episode!
"We pick up a few hours after the season 8 finale," said Steve Molaro. "Leonard and Penny were headed to Vegas, and we're going to catch up with them right there."
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will premiere on September 21.
