The last Hideo Kojima game with Konami is one of the most highly-anticipated game this 2015 and while the issues between the legendary game director Hideo Kojima and publisher Konami exist, "Metal Gear Solid 5" outcome seem to have not been affected.
"Metal Gear Solid 5" released across consoles including PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC has been the hype lately as "The Phantom Pain" was launched this week. Already, fans have been wondering about the gameplay and what the reviews have revealed so far about the game.
High praises and solid thumbs up are all that could be said based on the latest reviews of "Metal Gear Solid 5." The last Kojima game of the series, "The Phantom Pain" reviews revealed that apart from the superb graphics, the storyline and missions make the gameplay all the more exciting as it is unforgettable. According to Time, opponents in "Metal Gear Solid 5" make the game unbelievably real.
"The game's ruthless artificial intelligence that ties it all together so superbly," the review read. "'The Phantom Pain' sports the most unpredictable, exploitation-resistant opponents we've seen in a sandbox game. Though they run through all the classic 'Metal Gear'-ish paranoia loops, they're capable of far grander collaboration and topographical awareness."
Eurogamer has also reviewed "Metal Gear Solid 5" and has more than thumbs up for the Konami game. "'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain' is not just a high watermark for the series," it said. "It is the greatest ever stealth game by a distance, a true masterclass from a designer and team who bow out at the very peak of their creative powers."
"This is one of the greatest blockbusters our medium has ever had as well as the perfect ending to one of gamings' great series - and the end of one incredible, extended journey from Hideo Kojima. For decades to come, players will see the legacy of 'Metal Gear Solid,' and have no choice but to salute," added the review.
