Goku finally became Super Saiyan God in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 9.
This episode focused on the method on how to become a Super Saiyan God. Attack of the Fanboy reported that some viewers might find that it ended too abruptly.
In the trailer for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 9, Shenron was shown looming over the Z-Fighters. The God Dragon explained that six Saiyans are needed to reach the power to become a Super Saiyan God.
Beerus has been searching the universe for the Super Saiyan God whom he saw in a vision. The God of Destruction wants to fight and defeat the powerful creature.
Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks and Goten all hold hands to give their power to Goku. However, they initially failed because they needed one more Z-fighter. Beerus got angry and wants to kill them all again.
Videl then announced surprising news. She is pregnant and the unborn Pan is the last Z-fighter needed to complete the process for Goku to become a Super Saiyan God. Gohan is ecstatic with Videl's announcement as well as Mr. Satan. Chi-chi also congratulated Videl.
Beerus got impatient and burst into anger, wanting the fighters to hurry things up. Afterwards, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 9 just showed how Goku transformed to Super Saiyan God. The scene is longer and more dramatic than in "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods."
Videl's hair turned blonde as well, indicating that the unborn Pan has a lot of power in her. Goku finally became the Super Saiyan God and Beerus was happy that he is real.
Unfortunately, the highly-anticipated battle between the God of Destruction and the Super Saiyan God did not happen. The action may be in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 10, which is entitled "Show me Saiyan Goku!"
The next episode may showcase Goku's ultimate power as the Super Saiyan God. He could redeem his loss against the God of Destruction on King Kai's planet during episode 5 with this upcoming battle.
