Latest news on Angelina Jolie reveals that while there seems to be trouble in Pitt paradise, the actor continues humanitarian work and addresses sexual violence in ISIS.
Hollywood A-list actor recently has spoken to the British Parliament and addressed the pressing issue brought about by the terrorist group ISIS. The Guardian revealed that apart from the devastation that is felt throughout the world, there is an underlying issue that must be dealt with properly.
UN Special envoy Angelina Jolie said, "The most aggressive terrorist group in the world today knows what we know; knows that it is a very effective weapon and [is] using it as a centrepoint of their terror and their way of destroying communities and families and attacking, destroying and dehumanising."
In particular, the latest news revealed that Jolie has been referring to the violence against women, and while has been for the longest time considered to be specifically sexual, isn't really what it seems. "The most important thing is to understand what it's not: it's not sexual," Angelina Jolie pointed out.
"It's a violent, brutal, terrorising weapon and it is used unfortunately, everywhere," she added. According to Fox News, Angelina Jolie cited examples of the horrifying violence against women during the meeting as she recalled a young Iraqi girl who was repeatedly raped.
Meanwhile, as the latest news revealed Angelina Jolie's concerns about ISIS and its effect to women and children specifically, rumors have also surfaced that there has been trouble in paradise.
According to previous reports, Angelina Jolie and husband Brad Pitt may have been encountering issues in their marriage lately, but latest news have revealed that the couple are already rekindling the fire.
People reported that the Jolie-Pitt family has just spent time in London with all the kids in tow, and with Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt walking hand-in-hand. "Angelina and the children all seemed really happy and were clutching Wicked drinking bottles as they left," said the report.
