"Chicago PD" season 3 premiere will be action-packed, new spoilers teased.
As the new season draws near, the synopsis for episode 1 has already made its way to the internet, making fans more excited about the upcoming run.
As Carter Matt reported, the premiere episode entitled "Life is Fluid," will focus on the following events:
"Intelligence is in pursuit of Derek Keyes (guest star Bokeem Woodbine), number one on Chicago's Most Wanted list and heroin kingpin. Meanwhile, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) tries to get through to Lindsay (Sophia Bush) as her downward spiral continues after her three-week absence from the unit. At District, Olinsky (Elias Koteas) opens up to Platt (Amy Morton) about a secret from his past. Roman (Brian Geraghty) expresses his concerns to Burgess (Marina Squerciati) about what she's getting into by marrying Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger)."
All eyes are still on Det. Erin Lindsay as she struggles to deal with her depression. But as previous "Chicago PD" season 3 spoilers teased, Erin will be forced to return to the force earlier than she planned because of a kidnapped Halstead.
"In the new promo for the season-three premiere released Tuesday, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) is abducted, and his captors demand a female officer to go in alone to save him," The Hollywood Reporter claimed. "Of course, it's none other than Lindsay who volunteers. But as the footage shows, things take a turn for the worse very quickly."
"The day that she comes back to help is a hell of a day," Sophia Bush, who plays Erin, said. "It's the first time since Nadia's death that she's felt at her center again, and that makes her question what she's been doing and why she's given up."
"Chicago PD" returns with season 3 on Sept. 30.
