Celebrities are humans too. They may look normal and happy on the stage or when they perform but they are actually battling serious medical conditions. These celebrities are facing every day with battles to surpass and to make their fans happy.

First stop, Lil Wayne, an American Rapper has been confined in a critical condition in 2013 after suffering from three seizures in a row. The media speculated that his condition was caused by his over consumption of cough syrup or purple drank. However, he revealed that he is actually suffering from epilepsy and had bouts of seizures that the public doesn't know about, reports Style Blazer.

Iconic singer songwriter Lady Gaga has revealed that she was diagnosed with Borderline Lupus. This condition is considered a serious medical condition because it is an autoimmune disease. It causes the immune system of the body to become hyperactive and attack its own tissues. Since the symptoms of lupus are very similar to other illnesses and may recur irregularly, it may take three to five years just to confirm if the person really has the disease, IB Times reports.

Nick Jonas, one of the members of a sibling group called Jonas Brothers, has long been suffering from Type 1 Diabetes. He was diagnosed when he was just 13 years old.  He and his brothers raised over $1 million and donated it to Change for the Children Foundation, which contributes to the American Diabetes Association.

The famous Wolverine, Hugh Jackman, recently found out that he has skin cancer. It started out when his makeup artist noticed a lesion on his nose. When he was urged to have it checked, turns out, he has basal cell carcinoma. Now, he promotes and recommends everyone to wear sunscreen.
