Goku and Beerus exhibit their full powers in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 12.
In the latest installment of the series, the fight between the God of Destruction and the Super Saiyan God continued to shake up the universe. Attack of the Fanboy reported that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 12 showed more of the Gods' enormous power.
The fight in the anime TV series was more intense than how it was portrayed in the "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" film. "In 'Dragon Ball Super,' they make their powers seems more 'god-like' so to speak," the publication wrote.
The episode showed how Goku and Beerus seem to have the power to destroy the universe. Whenever the two Gods exchange blows, the effect can be felt throughout Earth and further in the galaxy.
Kibito Kai, Old Kai and King Kai were also able to feel the immense power emanating from the battle between the God of Destruction and the Super Saiyan God. Old Kai was immensely worried that the two Gods will destroy the Universe if the fight continues.
Beerus powered up one of his Ki balls while Goku sent his Kamehameha wave to stop this attack. The two energy blasts was enough to send tremors throughout the universe. It even destroyed one planet in the process.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 12 ended with a light show battle, with one bright flash of light covering the Earth. The latest installment in the series showed how powerful Goku's Super Saiyan God form truly is.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 13 will be entitled "Goku! Surpasses Super Saiyan God!" There are speculations that Goku may become even more powerful than his current state. He may even become a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS) in the next episode.
It is also rumored that this will mark the end of the "Battle of Gods" story and head on to the start of the "Resurrection of F" arc.
