Latest news and spoilers have revealed that there will be (non-walkers') blood as the first episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 arrives in a couple of days. According to a report by Cleveland, the possibility of death for Steven Yeun's character Glenn is inevitable, especially since the arrival of the villainous character of Negan is expected.
The report's spoiler is based on the comic book version of "The Walking Dead" where it is revealed that Glenn's death comes in the hand of Negan. "It comes during the iconic Issue 100 of the comic book. The villainous Negan makes his debut by driving his trusty baseball bat named Lucille through Glenn's head," the report said.
Not only is Glenn's death apparent in "The Walking Dead" comic book, but also that the actor himself as well as the showrunners have hinted that this might be the last season for the pizza delivery boy. A report by Yahoo revealed that it won't be easy for Glenn's fans as he meets his fate in a brutal beating by the new character Negan. "Fans of 'The Walking Dead' comics will know that Glenn suffers a horrible fate when he gets beaten to death by the brutal villain Negan," it said.
"Just last week, reports surfaced hinting that the makers have put out a casting call for a character that fits the description of Negan. So, it's definitely bad news for Glenn if the villainous character shows up in season 6," added the report.
While some fans aren't worried as the AMC series is known to deviate from the comics as in the character of Norman Reedus, Daryl Dixon, exec Gale Anne Hurd shared via the same report that, "The thing is, as you know, we are always inspired by the comic book. There are times where we bring an existing panel in the comic book to life exactly."
