Recent Lamar Odom news has confirmed that the former NBA star has used cocaine during his stay at the brothel where he was found unconscious.
BuzzFeed reported that a Nevada brothel worker, who found Lamar Odom unconscious in his room, told 911 dispatchers that the 35-year-old basketball player had been using cocaine, on top of sexual performance enhancers.
It was previously reported that Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in the Las Vegas area. On Tuesday, two women checked up on Odom at 3 p.m. and found him unconscious.
According to Dennis Hof, owner of the establishment, "terrible stuff came out" of his nose when the NBA star was turned on his side. Employees at the Love Ranch said that Lamar Odom may have taken a lot of "herbal Viagra," adding that they did not see him with illegal drugs.
Nye County Sheriff detectives confirmed that Odom bought the sexual enhancers at the brothel. The possibility that cocaine was supplied to the former NBA star by the two women who were with him is currently being investigated.
The Food and Drug Administration had warned consumers not to use the sexual performance enhancement supplement Reload after discovering that it contained sildenafil, an active ingredient in prescription Viagra. Apparently, Odom took 10 pills over three days.
Khloe Kardashian is now at Lamar's side at the hospital according to sources. Kris Jenner also asked for prayers for her former son-in-law on social media.
NBC News reported that Lamar Odom suffered brain damage and a stroke. He is said to be on a ventilator. Rev. Jesse Jackson also visited the former Laker and Clipper.
"Apparently from what the doctor said, he was much better off today than yesterday," he said. "He, at least, has some responsiveness now. He's got tubes in him now, but we felt inspired by his presence."
