The "Rugby Challenge 3" release date could happen by the end of this month.
Fans are getting impatient to know when the "Rugby Challenge 3" release date would be. On Oct. 8, developer Wicked Witch apologized for the game's delay and teased fans that it will come soon.
"Hi everyone, sorry for the delay, we have been travelling," Wicked Witch's Twitter account posted. "Very close to a release date for 'rc3,' so expect one from Tru Blu Games very soon!"
Twitter user Chris Myers directly asked the studio when it would be available. Another fan, Mike Cardno, admitted that the Rugby World Cup is "amping [him] up" for the "Rugby Challenge 3" release date.
"HURRY UP, 'RUGBY CHALLENGE 3,' give us a release date," Twitter user Rastakai urged.
It was previously reported that the "Rugby Challenge 3" release date may be released during holiday season this year. It will feature 11 competitions, which includes Super Rugby, New Zealand's domestic ITM Cup and South Africa's Currie Cup. Rugby Sevens will also be in the game.
"Rugby Challenge 3" will feature Rugby powerhouse teams under official license such as the Springboks, Wallabies, All Blacks and England, among others. International covers for the game was previously revealed in its official Facebook page a few months ago.
The various covers featured the five editions of "Rugby Challenge 3." The All Blacks edition, the Wallabies edition, the Jonah Lomu edition, the Springbok edition and the England edition sport different covers.
In a "Rugby Challenge 3" release date discussion by YouTuber The Scottish Cannon, YouTuber Hendri Kruger commented that his local shop confirmed that the game will be available by Oct. 31.
"People are saying 31st of October but I can't see this on any website," The Scottish Cannon replied to a comment about the "Rugby Challenge 3" release date. YouTuber BigMikesGaming commented that the game will be released after the Rugby World Cup.
