Ryan Reynolds, star of the "Deadpool" movie, has revealed the anti-hero's "greatest superpower."
Channel 24 reported that the 39-year-old actor has revealed what Deadpool is really good at. Reynolds admitted that he is confident that his upcoming movie will succeed among host of comic book films which include "Captain America: Civil War" and "X-Men: Apocalypse."
"I mean, Deadpool's greatest superpower is annoying the shit out of people," he said. "So I imagine that he would spark a heavy wave of ire from any one of those groups."
The actor also debunked rumors suggesting that the "Deadpool" movie only came to fruition because of him. "There's been a lot of talk about how I was instrumental in getting it made, which isn't true at all," he told Total Film magazine.
"I wouldn't say I spent every single day emailing the studio heads at Fox saying, 'You've got to make this movie.'"
He added that it was the fans that were able to convince the studio to develop the "Deadpool" movie. "But what I'm most proud of is we got to make the movie in the way it should have been made, which is rated R at a very modest budget," he said.
It was previously reported that Deadpool joined The Avengers in the recently released book, "Avenger #0." In the comic, Wade Wilson will be returning from a mission ordered by Captain America, also known as Steve Rogers.
As he returned to base, the Merc with a Mouth is handed his very own "Avengers Priority Identification Card." This confirms his new role in The Avengers.
However, the "Deadpool" movie will not feature an "Avengers" angle according to Kdramastars. The publication commented that the anti-hero film will not follow the "Avengers'" recent story developments, which might disappoint a lot of fans.
In a report by Comic Vine, the newest Marvel Infinite Comic Series entitled "Deadpool & Cable: Split Second #1" is now available. This will "chronicle the new adventures of the Merc With a Mouth and the Soldier With a Scowl."
