"Dragon Ball Super" episode 17 will see Pan's birth and what Goku did so that he can train with Whis.
Yibada reported that "Dragon Ball Super" episode 17 is entitled "Keep This a Secret From Chi-Chi! I Wanna Go Train Too!" The episode's preview trailer showed Goku getting busier now that Pan is born.
He is featured doing chores such as fixing the doors in their home. In the narration, he can be heard complaining about how Vegeta was able to go train with Whis while he is stuck in the house.
It seems like Goku will be asking for Bulma's help with Chi-Chi to allow him to train along with the Saiyan Prince. The Super Saiyan even admitted that he is scared of his wife.
Near the end of the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 17's trailer, Goku was shown wearing his iconic orange jumpsuit and flying off to space. There was even a scene where he is talking to someone who looks like Whis, although their faces were unclear in the background.
The end of the preview showed Chi-Chi really pissed off with her husband and Bulma. She might have overheard their plans to have the Super Saiyan go to Whis.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 17 will be aired on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015.
Attack of the Fanboy reported that the Great Saiyaman will be returning in the upcoming episode. He also made a quick appearance in the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 17 trailer.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 16 showed how Vegeta managed to convince Whis to train him. He was able to impress Whis with instant ramen noodles.
Apparently, Whis loved the idea that this can be cooked with boiling water only. Vegeta then started training with him.
Meanwhile, Goku actually went ahead with Krillin's dare and punched in the face. He was left with a huge black eye, with Android 18 taking care of him afterwards.
