A new "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer has been released for its first installment, entitled "Reunion."
Den of Geek reported that the new "Digimon" cartoon series has a new trailer showing its first scene. The latest "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer opened with an egg being filled up with what looked like tiny white cubes.
Afterwards, the white egg turned black and started to crack. One scene in the new "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer showed a massive blast in the city. However, it seems like it was just a part of Tai's dream or a foreshadowing of what will happen in the series.
Next, the video featured Tai preparing for school. There are still moments in the new "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer that showed destruction. Furthermore, new villain Alphamon made a brief appearance in the clip as well as the 02 kids.
The "Digimon Adventure Tri" trailer ended with a new remix of "Butterfly" by Kouji Wada. There are no indications that the series will be translated to English but there is still hope.
It was previously reported that the first "Digimon Adventure Tri" episode will be aired on Nov. 21. Instead of a full-length feature movie, the new show will be made into a six-part theatrical series and the first short-film is entitled "Reunion."
The anime is set 15 years after the events of the original series. It will see the return of Taichi Yagami and Agumon. The "Digimon Adventure Tri" cast has also been revealed.
Meanwhile, Siliconera has revealed the gameplay details for "Digimon World: Next Order." In the upcoming game, players can now go out on adventures with two Digimon partners.
Players will also need to make sure that their Digimon pair will cooperate and fight together. An AI battle system will help them synchronize their feelings. The Digimon will have the ability to attack separately and support each other.
"Digimon World: Next Order" is slated for release in Japan for PS Vita next year.
