"Mr. Robot" season 2 spoilers indicate that Elliot Alderson, played by Rami Malek, will be hell-bent on controlling his split personality.
It is also speculated that Angela, played by Portia Doubleday, will finally find out about his "nervous breakdown.
The Doubleday sisters, Portia and Kaitlin, have both been selected for prime roles in two of today's biggest TV shows. The former was cast for "Mr. Robot," while the latter was chosen for Empire's Rhonda. Despite being called in for different shows, they each had something to say about the TV series that the other is involved in.
"Elliot's dad is not real!" Kaitlin told Cosmopolitan. "They are worried about him because they are nervous he is having a nervous breakdown!"
"That was, like, episode 5!" Portia responded. "So, eight episodes happened after that!"
"No," Kaitlin continued. "Portia, that was the second to the last episode, when he pushes his dad out the window. When you guys are the cemetery."
"I do not understand what is happening in 'Mr. Robot' all the time!" Portia answered. "I am really actually intimated for the second season! I will have to rewatch the first season, I think. With Rhonda, I know Rhonda killed somebody, buried somebody."
In conventional TV show fashion, it is expected that "Mr. Robot" season 2 will pick up where the previous season left off. It was shown in the show's first season finale that an executive of Evil Corp. blew his brains out on live television as FSociety launched its cyber attack on the mega company. After the hack, the group managed to eliminate the world's debt.
While Elliot was busy looking for Tyrell, Angela was being convinced and seduced to be part of the highly powerful and wealthy Evil Corp. Elliot eventually became incapable of controlling his own hallucinations that Mr. Robot, played by Christian Slater, had to step in and take full control of him, as detailed by MStarz.
