"Dragon Ball Super" episode 22 may see the defeat of Tagoma courtesy of Gotenks.
In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 21, it was reported that Frieza has finally arrived to Earth and has already began attacking the Z-fighters. Vegeta and Goku, on the other hand, were still training with Whis.
This led to speculations that the series will reveal how Vegeta and Goku will be able to achieve the Super Saiyan Blue form. This new ultra-powerful form was not explained in the "Resurrection of F" movie.
In the previous episode, it was obvious that Tagoma, Frieza's purple henchman, was being built up and could eventually become a big threat in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 22. He knocked Gohan out with his energy blast in this week's installment.
Yibada reported that Tagoma is a completely different character in the series. The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 22 trailer showed the continuation of the battle between the Z-fighters and Frieza's army.
The preview opened with Piccolo taking a shot at Tagoma who was able to block the attack. In the next scene, fans are given a glimpse of Captain Ginyu in frog form which confirms the character's appearance in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 22.
Gohan was able to hit Tagoma with an energy blast. However, the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 22 trailer also showed the henchman hitting Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin and Master Roshi at once.
The publication commented that Captain Ginyu will most likely take over Tagoma's body in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 22. It was noted that Ginyu was not part of the "Resurrection of F" movie.
Furthermore, it looks like the Z-fighters actually have a chance at defeating Tagoma through Gotenks. In the last part of the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 22 trailer, Gotenks was shown hitting the henchman and actually causing him pain.
According to International Business Times, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 22 is entitled "Change! Impossible Resurrection! The Name is Ginyu!!" It will be aired on Dec. 6, 2015.
