Ziva returning to "NCIS" season 13 remains to be among the spoilers that Cote De Pablo's fans keep on waiting for. For the past several weeks, the Internet has been abuzz with reports that the said character is no longer going to be part of the highly watched show.
That said, director Dennis Smith's recent teases on social media led fans to become excited about a possible Tiva reunion once again. Smith had recently taken to Twitter to post a picture of himself including Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony DiNozzo, and De Pablo, who plays Ziva David.
The photo confirmed that the three have managed to remain friends, even if De Pablo has long stopped from showing up on "NCIS." In addition to that, it also fueled speculated that Ziva could still make a comeback to "NCIS" season 13, which is something that Cote De Pablo's fans will be very much delighted about, as Christian Today has pointed out.
De Pablo left the set of "NCIS" a couple of years ago. It is worth noting that her character was not killed off. That said, there is still a possibility that she will return to the show and be part of its regular cast once again.
Shortly after Smith posted the picture, fans started to believe that a Tiva reunion in the upcoming episodes of "NCIS" season 13 is in order.
Ziva is an Israeli citizen who was closely associated with the Mossad - as she was the daughter of its director, Eli David, played by Michael Nouri. Apart from that, she was also an operative of the Kidon unit, as well as a very close friend of the NCIS director, Jenny Shepard, played by Lauren Holly.
It was in "NCIS" season 6 when Ziva had to return to her native country. Unfortunately, she was captured by Somalian terrorists. She was initially presumed dead, but her friends at NCIS moved heaven and earth to prove that she was alive and bring her back to safety.
