The countdown to 2016 has begun and legions of Frank Ocean fans seem to have lost all hope of ever seeing (hearing) the new album anytime this year. However, new updates have revealed that while the new album is a no show, details about it might be revealed this year.
Previous reports have revealed that while the leaked detail isn't as big as the whereabouts of the new album and its new release date, this information remains highly valuable. According to a PopCrush, one of the producers working with Frank Ocean has revealed new album details, specifically a track that will be released in the next 15 days.
"Mark my words: in a few weeks you'll hear a song called White Ferrari, I can't tell u who it's by but it's the best thing you'll hear this year," A-Trak said.
Although not explicitly citing Frank Ocean's new album for the new track coming this month, fans have connected the dots and traced it back to Frank Ocean, according to the report. NME further supported the theory, as promoter Tremain D Emory commented on A-Trak's statement with the words "Album of the Year."
As usual, no comment from Frank Ocean about the speculated track from the new album has surfaced, not even a single statement from his people. Not an unlikely move for the artist, as he had kept fans hanging for the latter part of the year after announcing that his new album titled "Boys Don't Cry" will be coming last July.
Fans have gotten angrier by the day as Frank Ocean hasn't addressed the question of the new album, and why the July release date wasn't met. However, with the latest development about the new track, it seems that hope has been rekindled.
