Leighton Meester gave her fans an end-of-the-year treat making her first public sighting since giving birth to her first baby with husband Adam Brody, Arlo Day.
As reported by Mail Online, the former "Gossip Girl" actress and "The OC" actor was seen with their new bundle of joy while on a hike in Los Angeles.
The married couple of more than a year seemingly appeared to be in holiday mode as they made the hike both wearing red hoodies. As seen in the photos, the "Gossip Girl" actress walked ahead of her husband carrying a tumbler of water.
The "The OC" actor, on the other hand, had a precious cargo with him during the hike. He had Arlo Day strapped into his chest. No one got a glimpse of the baby's face though as she was all bundled up for the chilly weather and even had a woolly beanie on.
As mentioned in a report on Radar Online, the two-hour hike marked the first public appearance of Leighton Meester since giving birth to her first baby with Adam Brody, Arlo Day, back in August.
The "Gossip Girl" star and "The OC" actor has been very private about their life since getting hitched in February 2014. But in the past few months since giving birth in August, the actress-singer has been slowly easing back into the social scene.
Last month, she made her first social media appearance following the birth of her daughter with a picture of her hanging out with her squad. As told by E! Online, the "Gossip Girl" actress was with friends Gina Gammel, Aly and Amanda Michalka, Davida Williams and Madeline Zima.
Mrs. Adam Brody has also made her music comeback recently. According to Refinery 29, Meester dropped her own version of Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas" with Dana Williams during the holidays.
No word yet if Leighton Meester has plans to make a new album now that she has baby. But in one of her last interviews, she mentioned just wanting to focus on being home.
"I've done a ton of traveling in the last year/year-and-a-half which is great, but sometimes it's nice to just chill," she told Idolator in May. "So spending a lot of time with friends and family. Besides that, I don't really know."
