On Saturday, Jan.2, Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to post a photo of alleged boyfriend Zayn Malik holding her cat and shirtless. Well, what a way to start the year and startle their fans.
According to Us Magazine, the 20-year-old model posted the monochrome photo showing the former One Direction member playing with her kitten while shirtless on a bed.
Purportedly, Zayn Malik's tattoos and hand jewelry confirm that the person on Gigi Hadid's Instagram photo is him. Conforming to the photo, Malik's controversial tattoo of his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards of girl group Little Mix is cropped out, probably by Hadid herself.
StyleCaster stated that although Zayn Malik's face is not in the snap, the post has currently 600,000 likes and 50,300 comments that would mostly be about fans speculating if it was really him. But apparently, diehard fans of Malik would know it's him because of his tattoos.
This is actually not the first time that the alleged couple showed their affection in public. In the previous month, Zayn Malik also posted an un-captioned, monochrome snap of him and Gigi Hadid snuggling, on the social media site.

Also recently, Hadid shared a FaceTime photo of her wearing a Bradford City shirt on Twitter.
Mirror UK reported that the model quickly caught the attention of the club which made them comment on her tweet.
"Gigi, do you not have the new #bcafc shirt? We'll have to get you one!" the club wrote while Zayn Malik was also quick to comment.
"It's a lil old," he said with a smile emoticon.
Seemingly, Zayn Malik is a well-known, solid supporter if Bradford City.
According to Daily Mail, Gigi Hadid wore the navy blue shirt showing the club's yellow and maroon logo with "BC AFC" inside the crest with a thin choker that has a gold star embellishment.
These Instagram and Twitter posts by Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are igniting sparks of romance between the two of them although none had come forward to confirm what relationship they have.
