The holidays were far from over for Nina Dobrev and boyfriend Austin Stowell, according to the latest news about the former "The Vampire Diaries" actress.
She seemingly appeared to be having a blast following her exit from the TV series.
As seen on her Instagram feed, the 26-year-old actress has been having the time of her life in Hawaii these past few days along with friends and boyfriend Austin Stowell.
In a report on MTV, it was revealed that the "Final Girls" actress welcomed 2016 with skydiving and instead of screaming her lungs out for the jump, she chose to sing some lines from "I Believe I Can Fly."
"I believe I can fly... I believe I can touch the sky," she captioned on the video of the middle of the skydiving stunt. "Because I did. Both."
The jump followed Nina Dobrev's daredevil swimming with some sharks.
As told by Mail Online in the news, the "The Vampire Diaries" actress was without boyfriend Austin Stowell as she and her girlfriends swam the waters of Hawaii along with 22 sharks. The swim wasn't just for fun though, as she pled on social media for everyone to help save the great sharks.
While the Bulgarian-Canadian actress was having a great 2016 star, her former vampire TV series family may apparently not be experiencing the same as rumors of a possible cancellation of the series continue to swirl.
In a report on CarterMatt, it was cited that ratings for the TV series has yet to improve as interest on supernatural-centered shows has decreased recently. The site even foresees a "possibly-shortened final season" would be apt for the show at the moment.
As "The Vampire Diaries" fate remained in purported peril, news has it that Nina Dobrev will just continue to soar in her jump from the small screen to the big screen.
As state by IGN, she reportedly has been cast to star in Vin Diesel's "XXX 3."
