"Mortal Kombat X" is launching details on its DLC pack 2 next week, with new exciting characters being introduced to fans. Will a release date announcement also be revealed?
Initially, previous reports have revealed that "Mortal Kombat X" will announce a release date sometime mid-2016 for its much-awaited DLC pack 2. Lo and behold, NetherRealm Studios has unleashed details for DLC pack 2 and it seems not only will the characters be introduced to "Mortal Kombat X" fans, but a possible release date announcement could follow.
In a report by IGN, "Mortal Kombat X" details on the DLC pack 2 have been unleashed, naming next week as the D-day for the arrival of the formidable characters in "Mortal Kombat X." Not to be confused with the DLC Pack 2's release date however, as a gameplay trailer will only be launched next week.
"NetherRealm Studios plans on releasing a gameplay video of some kind for Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack 2 next week," said the report.
The DLC Pack 2 announcement came directly from "Mortal Kombat X" co-creator Ed Boon as he simply posted on his official Twitter account that, "Kombat Pack 2. Game play video. Next Week."
"Mortal Kombat X" DLC pack 2 will contain new playable characters that includes, "Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Xenomorph (Alien), Bo Rai Cho (drunken fist master) and Tri-Borg (combination of Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke)," according to Gamespot.
"The expansion is pegged to launch this year, though a release date has not been announced," the report pointed out.
While this may be so, fans are still hoping that the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X" DLC pack 2 gameplay video coming next only doesn't only contain a peep into the newest characters, but a possible release date announcement tagged at the end of the trailer.
Indeed, a release date announcement is a hopeful speculation for the coming DLC pack 2 gameplay reveal. But if in case it doesn't come, "Mortal Kombat X" definitely won't be disappointed.
