'Divergent Series: Allegiant' To Have An Alternate Ending? Future Movie Spin-Off Possible?

There has been a lot of speculation around suggesting that the last two part of the "Divergent" series will be showcasing an alternate ending, where the "Allegiant" film would carry substantial changes that would make a path for Tris to not die in "Divergent: Ascendant."

As beforehand reported, the "Divergent Series: Allegiant" will take after the adventure of the lead characters as they meander out of the wall, to discover why they were confined there in the first place.

Tris (Shailene Woodley) would apparently be killed off towards the end of the film, as he gives up herself for the cause.

That said, fans of the "Divergent" franchise were hoping that the producers of the film will reconsider killing off Tris' character in the big screen.

Theo James, on the other hand, in the past had even teased an alternate ending amid the early stages of promotion of "Insurgent." According to Sugar Scape, Theo James had expressed that Tris and Four will have twins named Bertied and Bernadette in "Divergent: Allegiant."

Theo James statement evidently fuels further possible alternate ending rumors.

In spite of the fact that the said alternate ending wasn't conceivable in "Divergent" novel, it has been speculated that the last two instalments, Divergent Series: Allegiant" and "Divergent Series: Ascendant" may prompt alternate endings to make space for future spin offs though no additional details have been revealed.

Fans from across the globe have reportedly begun a petition over Change.org, where fans have requested to make the alternate ending with Tris' being alive.

Author Veronica Roth, then again, said something with respect to changes in "Divergent" movies. "What does this mean? Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes," said Veronica Roth, according to MTV News.

"But it's really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them," she added.

As a matter of fact, Movie News Guide has noted that the slogan for "Divergent Series" Allegiant" is "Break the Boundaries of Your World," as the plot concentrates on Tris and Four going beyond the Wall enclosing Chicago.

While the "Divergent Series: Ascendant" tagline reads "The End Is Never What You Expect," which reportedly implies unequivocally towards the alternate ending.

While nothing is impossible, fans ought to watch the "Divergent Series: Allegiant" this coming March 18, 2016, for them to know whether the movie will showcase the said alternate ending that they have been hoping for.
