Linden Ashby, who plays the sheriff of Beacon Hills and the father of Stiles Stilinski, recently sat with Not Another Teen Wolf Podcast and teased about what's to come in "Teen Wolf" Season 6.
In his interview, 55-year old Linden Ashby said that "Teen Wolf" Season 6, which he said was already presented to him, is "phenomenal."
"It's great," Ashby told Another Teen Wolf Podcast. "I'm incredibly excited to film season 6."
He added that the sixth installment of the hit supernatural series will be "scary" in a different context. He said, "It's really dealing with scary, scary stuff, but not necessarily monster scary stuff. Very kind of adult themes are being explored in season 6. [It's] complex. And I'm just sitting with a big grin on my face because it's just going to be f-king good."
Linden Ashby also discussed the episode in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 that Tyler Posey, who plays Scott McCall, will be directing. Asked about how he thinks the cast would react to it, Ashby said, "I think everyone will be incredibly supportive."
"I think he'll be good at it. It's family, man. We all want each other to succeed. We've got his back. He's got a good support system in place," he added.
Meanwhile, "Teen Wolf" showrunner Jeff Davis, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, talked about the newest villain called the Beast, which was introduced in the previous episode.
"The chimera that's inside it is sort of surrounded by it. The person-we don't know whether it's a he or she yet-doesn't necessarily transform like Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk. It's actually more just shadows and darkness take shape around that person," Davis said.
Davis further revealed that the Beast is formed by shadows and with its coming also comes a "new, very dangerous mystery."
"Figuring out who is the Beast is a major mystery of the season," Davis said. Accordingly, the identity of the Beast, or the chimera inside it, will be revealed at the latter part of Season 5B.
