Going by the popularity of the games from Marvel, there might be some new games coming up with the theme of ''Thanos Avengers.''
Thanos is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. ''Marvel Ultimate alliance 3'' from the same makers might be coming up in 2017.
Thanos has appeared in several games released by Marvel. ''Marvel: Avengers Alliance'' is a turn-based social network game developed by Playdom in 2012.
The game is available as an Adobe Flash application via the social-networking website Facebook. It was initially released as promotion for the 2012 Marvel Studios crossover film ''The Avengers''. This character based game was nominated for Best Social Game on the G4tv.com Video Game Awards 2012, and won the title.
After the initial success on Facebook, it was made available on iOS devices on June 13, 2013. Subsequently, it was launched on Android too. On March 20, 2014, Playdom stopped this game on their servers. However, the players can play it on Facebook even now.
In the first season, the game revolves around a galactic event called the "The Pulse" hitting Earth. In the second season, S.H.I.E.L.D. travels to other parts of the world: San Francisco, Great Britain, Wakanda, and the Savage Land.
As per the latest report on Inverse, Marvel has come up with ''Infinity War.'' This is the final output of Marvel Studios' cinematic franchise will kick off this year in April. It is rumoured that this phase III will use all the 67 characters used in the movie.
''Captain America: Civil War'' a de facto "Avengers 2.5'' will be followed up with ''Avengers: Infinity War,'' the climactic two-parter that will end the Marvel movie era. The release dates are expected to be in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
