The upcoming episode is entitled "Entropy" and will feature "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza as Cat Adams. So who is Cat Adams?
According to TV Line, she is a gun-toting, bomb-planting psychopath who traps Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) in a date from hell.
In the preview of the "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 11 live stream, Adams challenges Reid to play a deadly mind game which could cost his life.
"Here's my game," she told him as reported by Latino Post. "You have 30 minutes to answer every question I ask. And if you lie, I know because I have spent the last 10 years of my life studying men and their lies before I kill them."
Aubrey Plaza is the on-screen love interest of Chris Pratt in "Parks and Recreation" and she also headlined the comedy "Safety Not Guaranteed."
Fans can see the other side of the 31-year-old actress in "Criminal Minds" season 11 episode 11 live stream on Hulu and CBS.
During an interview with TV Line, Aubrey Plaza revealed why she decided to accept the role of playing a deranged killer in the popular television series.
"It was hard. I don't know if fun is the right word. It was challenging. And things that are challenging are fun for me. I like a good challenge," she explained. "When you're playing someone that's a murderer you have to justify [their actions]. You have to dig deep and go to a dark place."
Aubrey Plaza revealed that it was Matthew Gray Gubler who convinced her to accept the role since they are good friends. The 35-year-old actor asked her to read the script which involved Cat Adams and she thought that this will be great opportunity for her to do something new.
"To be totally honest, I haven't watched much of the show. I just thought playing that role would be really fun," she said. "There aren't many opportunities for me to play a psychopath that has planted a bomb in a restaurant and who's holding a gun under a table trying to kill an FBI agent. That's some juicy stuff. I don't care what show it's on."
