Apparently this year's golden globe was a place where many relationships were mended. Nina Dobrev met Ian Somerhalder for a short moment in the after party of the 73rd Golden Globe Awards.
Inquisitr and Perez Hilton reported that Ian Somerhalder and his present wife Nikki Reed ran into Ian's ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev. Presently Nina is dating Austin Stowell and there are chances of them getting married in the near future. This duo has been dating since the summer of last year, sometime in July 2015.
TV Series ''The Vampire Diaries,'' brought this Bulgarian actress Dobrev to the limelight. Season 1 was aired on ''The CW'' channel in Sep. 2009 and she continued till Season 6 in 2015. Nina Dobrev portrayed the lead character Elena Gilbert from seasons 1-6.
After Dobrev left the popular supernatural drama in 2015 ''The Vampire Diaries,'' there are speculations of a new actress being cast for the role of Elena Gilbert. There are also rumours that the season 7 will not be aired as the show's popularity is reduced after Dobrev left.
Ian Somerhalder portrays Damon Salvatore (Seasons 1- present). In mid-2010, Somerhalder began dating his co-star from ''The Vampire Diaries'' Nina Dobrev. The couple called it quits in May 2013.
In mid-2014, Somerhalder began dating actress Nikki Reed who came to fame with ''Twilight''. They confirmed their engagement in Feb. 2015, and married on April 26, 2015.
There were some storms reported in the marriage sometime in 2015 as the 37-year old Ian wants to have kids and the 27-year old Nikki wants to concentrate on her career. Apparently it was reported during that time that Nina wants to win Ian back and is flaunting Austin Stowell just to make him jealous.
So will the human-vampire Rosalie Hale (Nikki Reed) of ''Twilight'' continue the relationship with the malevolent vampire brother Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) of ''The Vampire Diaries?'' Or will Elena Gilbert (Nina Gilbert) win back her screen and real life love(or ex-love)?
Nina turned 27 on Jan. 9 this year. Her current Beau Austin Stowell made her birthday party extra special. So all seems to be well at the Dobrev Stowell front.
However what will happen if Dobrev returns for TVD's season 7 as reported?
