Before getting released on Feb. 12, 2016, Ryan Reynold's "Deadpool" movie has been rated as "R."
USA Today reported that the Marvel antihero is categorized into a family-friendly PG 13 film.
Apparently, the rating has been set by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and was mentioned on the 20th Century Fox's blog.
Coming Soon reported that even though Ryan Reynold's Merc with a Mouth is some kind of a character, it is not difficult to market the "filthy filthy" movie to the general public.
Apparently, the solution is to create family friendly promotional posters that sell Deadpool's one-of-a-kind humor.
Patton Oswalt took to Twitter to post a photo of the funny "Deadpool" movie emoji billboard.
"This idiotic/brilliant billboard is why I'm all in on the 'DEADPOOL' movie. I'm an easy lay," Oswalt wrote.
Ryan Reynold's also tweeted another Deadpool poster.
"Just 29 days til, 'Skull Poop L!'" his tweet said.
The "Deadpool" movie is based on the original Marvel Comic's story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary, Wade Wilson. Wilson was subjected to a failed experiment that left him with accelerated healing powers, he then adopted "Deadpool" as an alter ego.
With his new superpower abilities and a twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who put his life in danger.
The "Deadpool" movie has gained momentum and a strong following before its 2016 release.
Cinema Blend shared that the movie should be rated R because of its "innuendo filled campaign and an obscene heavy final trailer."
Reportedly, MPAA gave "Deadpool" an R rating because apparently it has, "strong violence and language throughout, sexual content and graphic nudity."
Accordingly, producer and lead role Ryan Reynolds made a decision while the movie was filming that it would be finished with an intention of an R release.
Also, before its February 2016 release, the "Deadpool" movie has 7 new promotional posters that would make fans ask for more.
