The show's winter break is over and the wait for the series' second half has ended. In the mid-season finale, each of the S.T.A.R. Labs crew received a unique Christmas present. This includes Joe West's unseen son, Wally West.
Earth-2's Dr. Harrison Wells was seen working with Zoom to help the villain steal The Flash's speed. All this while his daughter is held in captive, reported by IBT.
"The Flash" Season 2 Episode 10 will introduce a new villain and will pickup on one of the major subplots.
Below is the official synopsis for "Potential Energy" from The CW.
"Now that they've grown closer, Barry (Grant Gustin) considers telling Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) that he is The Flash. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) try to get to know Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) and the team hunts down a meta-human who can slow time itself."
Turtle is the villain in question. The character is a new take on a Flash villain, who goes all the way back to the DC Comics' Golden Age.
Meanwhile, many people already know that Barry is The Flash. Fans are looking forward to the upcoming episode to see if he will reveal his real identity to Patty, shared Earn The Necklace.
Along with the series' return, comes a brand new "The Flash: After Show," which van be viewed on theStream.tv. It seems like the regular crew is back together, including Dylan Landon, Lauren Mayhew, Jack Hind and Devon Stewart, revealed Fansided.
Fans are welcome to participate by tweeting in questions with the hashtag, #TheFlashAS. There's a chance that the hosts may answer them live! The show begins at 9:15 p.m. eastern, on Jan. 19.
