Naruto continues to be a cultural force even though the manga started in 1999 and anime adaptation started three years later.

Even though the manga ended November last year, fans are still waiting for the next episode of the anime adaptation as it fully displays the power and myth that made Naruto one of the biggest anime and manga today.

Even though Naruto is already more than a decade old, fans and casual anime viewers are still clamoring for more. Masashi Kashimoto (the manga's creator) heeded the call by announcing Boruto through a movie and upcoming manga as reported by Anime News Network.

Now that the manga's first chapter is coming soon, fans can't help but speculate what will happen once the manga is released. YouTuber ForneverWorld posted a video about his speculation wherein he provides some significant input on what the manga would be.

Among them are the power of Boruto and the rest of the gang. They would need to have powerful weapons and techniques or else the story would still be focused on Sasuke and Naruto saving the village.

He also gave his predictions on who he thinks is Mitsuki's mother. According to the user, Orochimaru could be at the same time, Mitsuki's mom and dad with all his knowledge about genetics and DNA.

But with all the speculations, one thing is for sure: the story is actually going to reflect the past since the story will feature Boruto is the son of Naruto, Sarada is the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura as well as Mitsuki the son of Oruchimaru will be featured in the story.  According to Saiyan Island, the manga will continue the movie which practically takes them back to the village.

The set-up of characters might be the same but it's unlikely that the story will have the same format like the original "Naruto" series. Kishimoto will only supervise and the story will be handled by Ukyo Kodachi with Mikio Ikemoto as the graphic artist. A different writer and graphic artist will definitely point Boruto to a different yet familiar direction.
