It may have been a while since the last time you saw him in the big screen, but Freddie Prinze Jr. continues to attract legions of fans and attention. Thus, when the news broke out that he's undergoing spine surgery, many were worried.
If you're one of them, however, fret no longer. He's recently been spotted walking again after the delicate surgery. Although he was pretty quiet as to the exact reason for the surgery, he simply stated it's to correct issues with his disc.
With a neck brace, he's seen pushing a stroller where the restive 2-year-old Rocky lay and holding the hand of his 5-year-old daughter Charlotte. In front of him was his wife, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who was holding the leash of their dog.
Ever since his surgery on November 20, he's also been updating his fans on his progress through Twitter. He compared his walking training to learning jiu-jitsu and took a selfie raising three fingers, which signified he's walked for three miles. He also shared he's doing visualization techniques to get his health right back on track.
Thirty-eight-year-old Prinze Jr. also tried to make light of his condition by calling himself funny nicknames like Robo-Bro or Iron Android.
Although Prinze Jr. isn't as active as he was in the late 1990s and early 2000s, he's keeping himself busy being the voice of Kanan Jarrus in the animated show Star Wars Rebels. He's also famous for his work in WWE Raw as its director, writer, producer, and sometimes actor. He's been doing it since 2008.
He was also cast as a regular for 24 and performed other voice jobs.
As to why he's not as visible, he loves spending time with his family, especially with his two children. He's been married to Gellar since 2001 after meeting in I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997. The couple lives in Los Angeles.
