"One Piece: Gold" is the 13th movie adaptation of the long-running anime and manga series "One Piece." Even though the official synopsis of the upcoming adventure of Straw Hats is not yet released, some clues are already available that could be used to learn more about the upcoming film.
A recently released poster has revealed vital information about the upcoming movie. Onepiecegold.com released the movie poster with very important information as it Luffy is prominently seen to be lifting something really heavy tied around his waist while another person makes an appearance. On the lower left side of the poster, a character colored in pink is revealed.
According to One Piece's Wikia entry, the person included in the poster is Gildo Tesoro and he will be making his first appearance in the upcoming film. It is also revealed that his is in charge of an "entertainment city" set on a ship.
The ship is so large that it is regarded as an independent country by the government. Since he is in charge of the entertainment city, he is practically the president who holds the ultimate power.
Another important information every fan of the anime series should know is the words spoken during the trailer. According to Anime News Network, the recently released trailer says "The world will be plundered...to "The New Dimension" of "The New World."
The title of the film could be a play on words for the legendary pirate Gol.D Roger and since he is already deceased, he could be the character from the new dimension.
All these, of course, are just mere speculations and everything will be revealed when the film hits the theaters on July 23 according to My Anime List. The film should be a great ride for the Straw Hats as they set their adventure in the different type of ship with an antagonist that could push the limit of our heroes.
