OnePlus, with its solid features and very competitive pricing, has made a name for itself and managed to establish a loyal customer base; and now, all smartphone enthusiasts are on the look-out for the much-awaited OnePlus 3!
International Business Times UK, in its report, said that although OnePlus devices are already praised for its solid hardware, OnePlus 3 is expected to sport significant changes in its hardware design.
One of these significant changes is a brushed metal back which is different from the various experimental back panels OnePlus had ranged from sandstone, Kevlar, wood and ceramic.
The new OnePlus smartphone is also reportedly much slimmer and the overall design will include the speakers being placed on the front of OnePlus 3.
Moreover, from a Gorilla Glass 3 in OnePlus 2, the new OnePlus 3 will be getting the more enhanced Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Finally, the device will have a 1080 pixel screen, which according to the report, had raked in savings for the Chinese manufacturer.
Definitely, one of the features that smartphone enthusiasts are looking forward is the rumored iris recognition for unlocking the screen, a major development from OnePlus 2's fingerprint scanner.
NFC or near field communication, a short-ranged, high-frequency wireless communication technology enabling the exchange of data between devices at a distance of 10 cm, may also be brought back for OnePlus 3.
OnePlus 3 will still have two variants, the 16GB and 64GB memory capacities, with 4GB RAM and 5GB RAM, respectively. And topping it is the hugely rumored new hardware specs, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 (MSM8896) processor, expected to make OnePlus 3 more powerful.
Moreover, Android Origin said that OnePlus 3 is expected to have an improved camera. And to further enhance its "flagship killer" status, the new device will also have a faster-charging capability. It also expects for major improvements in the Oxygen OS, One Plus' operating system.
