James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" featured Aussie singer-songwriter Sia.
Sia, whose last name is Furler, joined "The Late, Late Show" host as he did another segment of his popular series, "Carpool Karaoke." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sia and James Corden sang along to the singer's hits such as "Chandelier," "Diamonds," "Elastic Heart," "Alive" and "Titanium.
The video opened with James Corden spotting Sia on the sidewalk. He called out to her and the singer pretended to face the wrong direction as she talked with the host.
Sia donned her signature black-and-white wig which was topped with a black bow. "The Late, Late Show" host asked the songwriter about why she always covers her face.
"I don't wear this unless there's cameras around," Sia admitted. "I only wear this just to try and maintain a modicum of privacy."
"I was a singer already for like 10 or 11 years, to mediocre success, and I was an alcoholic and a drug addict, and I sobered up and decided I didn't want to be an artist anymore because I was starting to get a little bit famous and it was destabilizing in some way."
"So I thought, 'What doesn't exist in pop music at the moment?' And it was mystery... there's pictures on Instagram of everyone at the dentist," she added.
James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" also showed Sia giving the host singing lesson and clarified some lines in "Elastic Heart."
The Guardian reported that the hitmaker revealed that she only started believing in aliens after she watched a video of a former Canadian defense minister, who admitted "that the American government [is] working with five different alien races."
"My blood ran cold," Sia said. "That guy is the ex-Canadian minister of defence! He's not just some guy on YouTube!"
James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" previously featured Elton John, Justin Bieber, Adele, One Direction, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Stevie Wonder and Iggy Azalea.
