It was reported sometime back that Alex Turner (Of ''Arctic Monkeys'') and Miles Kane (Of ''The Rascals'', solo artist) under the band name ''The Last Shadow Puppets'' will release an album soon. The title of the album will be ''Everything You've Come to Expect.''
Pitchfork reported last month that this will be their second album. ''The Last Shadow Puppets'' had released their first studio album in 2008 entitled ''The Age of the Understatement.'' Apart from Turner and Kane, producer James Ford (Of ''Simian Mobile Disco'', Simian), and Zach Dawes (Of ''Mini Mansions'') too are a part of this band. String arranger Owen Pallett and Dawes are there on bass.
Last year pitchfork had recorded the interview of the band too. Video for their single "Bad Habits was released in Jan. 2016. As per the latest report on NME, Kane and Turner have confirmed the dates for two European festivals too. They will be performing in Poland's Open'er festival this summer.
They will also perform in Way Out West festival in Sweden and Flow Festival in Finland. The Flow Festival will start on Aug.12, 2016 and will conclude on Aug 14, 2016. In another report on NME, the best pals Alex and Miles confirmed that they will be creating music together.
"It's like watching footage of an explosion in reverse," stated Alex Turner. "It's like John Lennon meets... Paul." In the interview with NME they spilled the beans about the upcoming album.
When the interviewer asked them the reason behind the delay in releasing the second album, Turner explained to him in details about it. "Well, we wanted it to be a trilogy," explained Alex. "We wanted to write the second and third parts before we released the second."
In the personal life's front, it is rumored that Turner might not be together with Bagley as they were not spotted together for a long time. Another member of the band ''Arctic Monkeys'' Matt Helders collaborated with Iggy Pop and they will be releasing an album entitled ''Post Pop Depression'' on Mar.18, 2016.
