Former NSYNC member Lance Bass got married to artist Michael Turchin at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles last Saturday. More than 300 guests attended the wedding, with Jamie-Lynn Sigler and JoAnna Garcia Swisher officiating the ceremony. The two actresses became the Universal Life ministers, as reported by The New York Times.
Bass and Turchin's wedding became a mini NSYNC reunion with Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez in attendance.
"I'm really excited that JC is going to [sing during] our first dance," Bass previously said in an interview. "It is, of course, very meaningful to me. He has the best voice I've ever heard in my entire life. And it looks like he might be doing it as a duet with Kristin Chenoweth."
Other celebs spotted in the wedding were AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys as well as reality stars including Lisa Vanderpump, Cheryl Burke, Carmen Electra, and Kris Jenner.
Prior to the wedding, Bass gushed about the wedding ceremony to E! News, calling it a very "classic" and "grandiose" affair.
"My only note to the guests were 'I want you to pretend like you're going to a royal wedding at the met ball.' So it can be over the top, high fashion, and just incredible fashion, and that just kind of set the tone for the wedding right there."
The couple seemed to go all out for the preparation and spared no expense.
"We're using a lot of elements in the wedding that are classy and one of those is definitely our first dance. The song we chose is a song that lasts forever, something that is very special to us."
Their wedding is scheduled to air on E! on February 5 as a 90-minute special called "Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding". This will reportedly be the first time that an American television network would be broadcasting a celebrity wedding between two men. Finally!
Congratulations on your wedding Lance Bass and Michael Turchin!
