Kid Rock has recently launched his new social media promotion #KidRockFirstKiss on New Year's Day. Although this is a lot of free publicity, it fell almost two months before the official February 24th release of his latest album entitled First Kiss.
Moreover, the results of his promotional stunt, which was predominantly through Instagram and Twitter, have definitely been eye-catching.
Kid Rock's First Kiss album is actually expected to showcase at least 10 tracks. Plus, it can now be purchased online through a pre-order system via Amazon or iTunes.
It certainly looks like the internationally known rocker will be very busy this year as he will reportedly be going on tour this coming summertime with Foreigner. Sadly, however, his fans will have to wait until further details will be provided about the tour. So far, no additional information about the upcoming Kid Rock tour has been released to the public yet.
Kid Rock mentioned in a press release last November that he actually has plans this coming summer to have an "even more ambitious" tour as compared to the one that he had in 2013, which offered tickets that were priced at $20.
His Best Night Ever Tour in 2013 featured $20 tickets, $4 beers, and $20 t-shirts. Plus, it also gave Kid Rock a chance to perform in front of a sell-out crowd of more than 550,000 in just one summer. The tour gave him the opportunity to perform in eight shows at the DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, each selling nearly 30,000 $4 cans of beer.
Foreigner has recently released their collection, The Best of Foreigner 4 & More. However, it looks like Mick Jones and the rest of the band have more surprises in store for their fans.
Predicted bassist, Jeff Pilson, stated during a recent appearance on the Double Stop podcast, "The future is a lot of touring. We're gonna go out with Kid Rock this summer, which will be really interesting."
