The NBA trade rumors are in full swing this past month. With how things are playing out for the Philadelphia 76ers, the same questions from last year have surrounded the franchise once again. Will they be able to win at least 20 games? Are they tanking the season to acquire another top pick in the 2015 NBA draft?

The 76ers are rebuilding and their fans have already accepted that fact. Perhaps they are trying to follow the footsteps of the Oklahoma City Thunder, which acquired reigning MVP Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook via draft and have transformed to perennial contenders. The Sixers are now brimming with young talents and when Joel Embiid returns from injury, they might be a piece away from being a playoff contender. But, what are they doing in the NBA trade rumor mill right now?

Tony Wroten, continues to impress and make a name for himself this season. He has caught the attention of several teams. His refusal to lose every night is just hard to ignore.

perCSNPhilly.com's John Gonzalez:

Wroten is averaging 17.2 points and 5.2 assists in 30.2 minutes per game this season. Jordan Farmar is currently the Los Angeles Clippers back-up point guard. What the 21-year-old Wroten could bring into the table is his athleticism, speed, and superb penetrating ability.

Pro Basketball Talk's Dan Feldman raised a couple of important questions regarding Wroten:

"But how valuable is Wroten? Has he truly broken out, or is he just putting up numbers on a tanking team with few other options? After all, Evan Turner was scoring at a similar clip in Philadelphia last season, and he totally fell off after the Pacers traded for him."

With this NBA trade rumor, it just shows that Sixers see Michael Carter-Williams as their cornerstone point guard.

What do you think of this NBA trade rumor? Will Clippers pull the trigger or stick with their current line-up? Sound off in the comments section below.
