Zayn Malik's birthday will be celebrated by One Direction and their fans everywhere on January 12th. This will be the day that the handsome 1D member turns 22.
It has certainly been a very good year for Malik. He was publicly declared by Forbes as one of the second-highest earning celebrities under 30 years old. Billboard also named him their Top Artist of the Year, as part of the internationally known band, One Direction. These two titles are, indeed, major achievements, especially for someone who is still turning 22.
Although it would appear that everything is going well for the musician, it is actually just the tip of the iceberg. He, along with his fellow band mates, has just released yet another chart-topping album entitled, Four.
The boys of One Direction had also launched a wildly successful tour, their very first one, the Where We Are Tour. Still, despite all this, the boy band's fans still cannot get enough of them and the amazingly gorgeous Zayn Malik, in particular.
Sadly, though, for all the women who have written Malik's name in the blank space in their hearts, he is actually very smitten with his fiancée, Perrie Edwards of Little Mix. They were even spotted stepping out in interesting New Year's Eve costumes, as they were dressed as Cleopatra and Edward Scissorhands.
Although 2014 was a pretty good year for him, there were still some bad times that attempted to mar him and his career. After he had to miss out an appearance on the "Today" show last November due to an alleged "tummy bug," Matt Lauer, the show's host, infamously and insensitively asked the other boys if his absence was because of his drug problems.
Despite the intensity of the drug-related rumors that surfaced at the time, 1D fans rallied around him. The rest of One Direction also took very good care of him.
Plus, he has recently become a victim of an alleged nude photo scandal earlier this month, just several days before Zayn Malik's birthday. He has not given any comment regarding the matter to date, but fans are hoping that the man in the picture was not really him.
