Before Hollywood A-list star became Barney Stinson, he was Doggie Howser, an 18-year-old genius slash medical surgeon. That was a long time ago. Now, somewhere in Florida, a teen wanted to pass himself as one. Did he succeed?

A hospital in West Palm Beach became the center of attention, at least for a while, when a 17-year-old teen presented himself as a doctor, specifically an anesthesiologist.

However, unlike Harris's character, the teen, whose name was not revealed, didn't have either the genius or the medical training to become a full-fledged doctor in the health care facility.

Rather, it seemed like he obtained his medical supplies including the coat that bared the logo of the hospital, St. Mary's Medical Center, a mask, and a stethoscope from any of the offices or rooms.

Based on the surveillance camera, he was seen walking around the halls for a couple of weeks. However, no one was able to detect that something was wrong with him since he was always on the medical garb. The only time that he was ever suspected was when he walked in an examination room where a gynaecologist Sebastian Kent was attending to a patient. Wearing the same clothing, the doctor mentioned that the teen wanted to "shadow" him.

The doctor then asked for more information about his medical background and then became strongly concerned that he eventually called the police who nabbed the teen.

In the meantime, the hospital announced through its official statement that the teen had not interacted with any of the patients around the time he was there. The surveillance cam also confirmed that since he wasn't seen entering any room or even talking to the patients.

His mother, on the other hand, revealed that the teen is currently being treated for an illness but refused to do so. The police didn't press any charges since they deemed no crime had been committed.
