First time ever on a Microsoft platform and first online multiplayer capability? Fans can't wait for "Kingdom Hearts 3."
Fans can hardly wait for the release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3" especially since the online co-op rumors have surfaced. Speculated details of Sora's next adventure have also appeared online, including characters and gameplay.
Rumors that online multiplayer will be available come "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date began as developer Square Enix posted a job description that calls for a professional who is highly experienced online, apart from video game production requirements.
The description read, "In charge of general technical assistance (workflow construction, selection of middleware etc) in Implementing the high quality graphic expression or Kingdom Hearts III. In charge of construction duties for a shader on the game engine for nature representations (water, rain, snow etc) and special effects (magic etc) etc, constantly online games."
It wasn't long before fans connected this job search with "Kingdom Hearts 3," which is currently in development. Following this line of reasoning, there have been rumors that Sora, the main protagonist in the entire series, will not be as much of a star this coming "Kingdom Hearts 3."
Donald Duck and Goofy are the "second in command" in the previous "Kingdom Hearts" games. With the news on online multiplayer, speculations focus on these two classic Disney characters and the possibility that they could be stepping into a brighter spotlight come "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date.
However, to date, this remains to be a mere speculation as Square Enix has yet to confirm the multiplayer news.
What is confirmed about "Kingdom Hearts 3" however is that it will be released for a Microsoft platform as the previous "Kingdom Hearts" games were for Sony and Nintendo consoles only. This provides a bigger market for the already positively received crossover game.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" release date is reportedly set for 2016.
