Atlus' action and adventure game "Persona 5" may be ready in time for this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2015).
It has been reported that the developers are gearing up for their major announcement on the impending PS-exclusive game.
"This time around, though, the protagonists of Persona 5 themselves are on the run for doing what they think is right after something happens completely out of the blue. That mixture of thrills and not-so-larger-than-life cast of characters is what composes the idea of 'academy juveniles' for us," game director Katsura Hashino said.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo is an annual trade show presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) for the video game industry. The 21st E3 event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA. It will happen on June 16 to 18, 2015.
Game Spot reported that "Persona 5" will be the first new entry that was not a fighting game or dungeon crawler spin-off in the role-playing series. The publication's team came up with the features that they would like to see when the upcoming role-playing game will be released later this year.
In "Persona 4 Golden," Atlus offered a multiplayer experience through letting players view other players' preset shoutbox messages and restoring a small percentage of their party's health and mana by tapping the screen.
"A more proactive approach to multiplayer would be welcome, such as the introduction of a multiplayer-only arena where players could team up to battle together to unlock in-game rewards," Game Spot wrote.
Another feature that would be a good addition to the game would be to replicate what Atlus did in "Persona 3 Portable" which provided the option of a playable female protagonist. In using a female main character, the game's dynamic was changed especially in how they treated the player in-game. Sometimes, there were new characters that the female protagonist was able to interact with.
