"How To Talk To Girls At Parties" gets another big hitter as Nicole Kidman joins the cast.

Neil Gaiman's 2006 science fiction short story is being adapted into a movie titled, "How To Talk To Girls At Parties" and it will star "Maleficent" actress Elle Fanning. Nicole Kidman is the latest cast addition and here are the details available so far.

Latest news on the movie  "How To Talk To Girls At Parties" involves a new cast member and it is no less than Oscar winner Nicole Kidman. Wegotthiscovered revealed that while Kidman will be returning to the small screen for an HBO project, she will also reunite with "Rabbit Hole" (2010) director John Cameron Mitchell as he will talk on the helm in the Neil Gaiman adaptation.

The same report also revealed that "The soundtrack is said to be a big deal for the project, with LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy being one of several major artists courted to work on it. Cast members will also contribute songs to the movie."

John Cameron Mitchell also co-wrote the script alongside the author, and will produce it along with Gaiman and Howard Gertler, according to THR.

Neil Gaiman's short story revolved around two boys, Vic and Enn, in London during the 1970s, who tried to talk to girls at a certain party. Once they thought it was an easy task only to discover that there was something different about the girls. The full short story of  "How To Talk To Girls At Parties" is posted on Neil Gaiman's official website.

Elle Fanning, who will be taking on the lead role in  "How To Talk To Girls At Parties" is known for her work in "Maleficent" (2014), "We Bought a Zoo" (2011) and "Super 8" (2011).
